Internal publishing workflow for the APGO Malaysia marketing team

Uses YouTube API Services.

APGO MY Automation is a private tool operated by APGO SDN. BHD. that helps authorised APGO staff publish APGO-owned short-form videos to the official APGO MY channel. It is not offered to the general public and it does not provide consumer accounts.

What the tool does

  1. Reads team-approved titles, descriptions, source videos and target times from the APGO scheduling sheet and Google Drive.
  2. Uploads an approved video to the exact APGO MY channel as private content first.
  3. Checks processing and short-form eligibility. Native scheduling is only enabled after the responsible operator has approved the action and the required platform compliance review is complete.
  4. Records operational state to prevent duplicate uploads and sends lifecycle notifications to an internal APGO Telegram group.

Safety: The production safety switches are fail-closed. Uploading, scheduling, Sheet writes, cron execution and deletion are independently controlled.

Access

The API client is used only by authorised APGO personnel. Google OAuth authorisation is performed by the Google account that controls the APGO MY channel. Every authorised channel request is checked against the configured APGO MY channel ID.

Facebook and Instagram publishing

The same internal APGO workflow uses Meta APIs to publish APGO-owned Reels to APGO's authorised Facebook Page and Instagram professional account. It reads team-prepared content and target times, uploads media, checks platform processing, records post identifiers and publication URLs, and notifies authorised staff. Where approved permissions are available, it also reads aggregate content performance for APGO's internal reporting.

The tool manages only APGO-controlled accounts. It does not provide public sign-up or connect unrelated customer accounts. API acceptance alone does not guarantee that a post is accessible to every viewer; public visibility is checked separately.
